Access—New member of DIAC

We would like to extend a warm welcome to a new member, Martyn Weller, from Acomb, who runs his own consultancy specialising in access. He has submitted the following article:

MCW CONSULTANCY LTD

MCW was founded in August 2003 by Martyn Weller following the sale of the Ł52M turnover business for which he was Group Operations Director.

Martyn was born with Spina Biffida and was a twin (his twin sister is abled bodied). From an early age his parents instilled a belief that he could achieve whatever he set his mind to and despite his disability Martyn went to main stream school (where he was the only disabled pupil) and college. Having left he was given the opportunity to join a company as a management trainee, and progressed through a number of management positions, being given his directorship in 1995.
